About me
Michael Holton is a seasoned healthcare executive who has spent his 25+ year career building and leading physician practice management businesses across a variety of healthcare specialties such as cancer care, vascular care, urgent care, and eye care services. Michael has spent his career building and scaling management services organizations supporting physician led practices by adding operating systems, hiring patient-centric dynamic teams, and focusing on outstanding physician partnerships.
Michael began his career at General Electric Medical Systems and spent most of his career as an executive at companies within the private equity sector. He has managed businesses across the United States, Mexico, England, Germany, and Japan.
Michael most recently served as a founding member and CEO of Atlantic Vision Partners, a healthcare platform consisting of ophthalmology practices, optometry practices, and surgery centers located across the mid-Atlantic region.
Michael was also President and Chief Executive Officer of M.D. Now Urgent Care, based in West Palm Beach, Florida, and aided in its growth to become the largest Urgent Care provider in the state of Florida. In addition, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Preferred Vascular Group in Atlanta, Georgia, and has held other executive positions within the healthcare industry.
Michael earned an M.B.A. from the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary, where he was involved in Operations and Entrepreneurship and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.
In his free time, Michael is a father of two beautiful daughters, sits on various healthcare boards, is involved in local charities, and is an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
