Helen serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Women’s Care Enterprises. Since her arrival in 2018, she has worked to set the clinical direction of the organization, collaborating with the more than 450 physicians and advanced practice providers across Women’s Care. Her particular areas of focus include quality and safety as well as risk mitigation. With her talented team, she has established a STEEEP dashboard of quality metrics and is continuing to undertake other innovative efforts including the APP University which will increase access and quality of care for our patients as well as the Ultrasound Academy to ensure our standardized approach to performing ultrasounds for our OB and Gyn patients allows the highest level of detail and accuracy in performing these studies. In any medical field, there will occasionally be challenging outcomes. Helen and her team have created an annual educational program that allows providers to continue to be lifelong learners through a variety of modalities that focus on various aspects of women’s health.
Helen is a native of Philadelphia, PA and attended the University of Pennsylvania for medical school and residency in Ob/Gyn. She has maintained her board certification for over 25 years and also completed a Master’s in Healthcare Quality and Safety from Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Population Health. Not wanting to get too far from the clinical world, she has recently started to pick up a few shifts delivering babies with the WHH hospitalists at Lakeland Regional Hospital. She is the proud mother of 4 young adult children and enjoys traveling the world with her husband in her spare time.
